Ahoy maties!

Before we release the next contest, we thought it would be so very wonderful to get some feedback from our members.

1)  Future themes.  Think crazy thoughts...we like it and apparently so do YOU!
2)  Prizes: this includes ideas for prizes or offers as well as providing prizes.  We are always looking for good ideas and gifted items.
3)  Do you read the Rubric?  If  not?  Why?  How do you feel about the Rubric?  Do you have questions about the Rubric?  Please let us know!

We would like to thank everyone for reading the Rubric.  It is what we use to make the decision on who places where.  It is so very obvious that more and more of you are taking the time needed to read through it carefully which is good as there are aspects of the Rubric that change for each contest.  Each contest becomes more of a challenge for us as each of you are following the guidelines.  It is a beautiful thing.

A new rule that must be established effective the next contest is this:

When you win first place, you will have to sit out of the next contest as a contestant.  However, you WILL be an honorary judge for the following contest if that is something you are interested in.

What this means is you will assist in scoring submissions to the next contest. You can submit to the contest as a judge but your submission won’t count towards the competition itself (the judges participate but their entries don’t count).

At any time, if you do not feel comfortable posting a comment below, please feel free to contact any of the judges by note.  Your comments will be confidential and ONLY discussed with the judges.

Want to talk to the other Pirates any time day or night?  Join us on Facebook.  The Stitching Pirates Group is a closed group and  you may only gain acceptance by requesting to join and noting your dA name.  There is a very lively chat room you will have access to AND our very own DoidaPorTi and cloudrat come in for a chat once in awhile.  Get to know your fellow Pirates!
